These are the cherries that go into our Visciolata del Cardinale dessert wine. Deliciously intense and tasty, these small aromatic sour cherries are a real treat. Put three or four cherries onto a vanilla ice cream together with the syrup for a simple but exquisite dessert. They can also be used in cooking and pair well with lamb, pork, duck and gravadlax or use them on a ricotta cheese cake. Just be creative with your jar of lusciousness!
They have a stone which can easily be removed and adds to the flavour.
